Our Body is Vessel
The vessel of this journey we must love, you see, The way anchored on the shore, against the waves it stays The way it flows with the tide when we’re out deep The way it protects is when the weather gets rough The way it hangs on although it is often tough The way it shows us the beauty of the sunset The way it enforces the reign of the sea. This vessel, it so seems Is resilient, indestructible as we’ve seen. The way it’s made it through the darkest storm The way it’s let us play on a sunny day The way the masts stand tall with pride The way the sails make way This vessel, it so seems Is replete, packed tight as we’ve seen The way the love fills the hull The way the pain floats away The way the wood creeks of wisdom The way the maps and the scrolls let us sail free Our vessel on this journey we must love For it has let us just be
